Welcome

The Public Transport Ticketing Corporation (PTTC) is responsible for managing the phased implementation of the smartcard ticketing system for public transport customers and operators across greater Sydney.  The PTTC is within the Transport Services Division of Transport for NSW.

In September 2011 the NSW Government announced that the new smartcard ticket would be called Opal.
